Coaches Registration

You must be approved by Director of Coaches, Mark Ure, before registering as a coach. Fall season is run through the U.S. Club via the GotSport registration system. Below are instructions on how to login to GotSport and to fulfill the requirements. Please do not wait until the last minute to complete requirements! Some requirements can take a couple of weeks to process. You cannot coach a game until you are fully approved by the US Club via GotSport. 

FYI, players and coaches will register into GotSport and LeagueApps. GotSport is the registration system used for the US Club season in the fall. LeagueApps is Kaua’i Braveheart FC’s internal registration system. Parents will use LeagueApps to pay for their club fees via credit card. 

GotSport Directions

Step one: Login

1. Go to  https://system.gotsport.com/ 

2. Click Login (if new, con’t below, if returning, login and go to Step 2)

3. Enter your email address 

4. Click on Forgot Password

5. Check your email for directions on how to reset password

6. Login to  https://system.gotsport.com/

Step two: Update Profile

Once logged into GotSport, please update your profile info listed below: 

1. Address

2. Phone

3. Add Profile Picture (if there isn’t one already)

4. Select Hawaii time zone (if not done already)

5. DO NOT opt out of our communications

6. DO NOT bother to add your graduation year or proof of citizenship 

Step three: Requirements  Click to the right of each requirement where it says More Info and follow instructions. Once approved, each requirement will display a green box that says Fulfilled. Some returning coaches may already have some of their requirements marked as fulfilled. 

1. Click on dashboard (Desktop: top left….mobile: three lines)

2. At dashboard there are three requirements to the right:

   1. SafeSport: SafeSport can take a couple of weeks to be approved after you upload the certificate. Please attend to this as soon as possible. If you have already taken SafeSport in the past, login to SafeSport and take the refresher course. NEW COACHES will need to follow the instructions to login to SafeSport (make sure to copy access code for this course) and take the course and upload certificate into GotSport. Submit Safe Sport - US Club – GotSport You will want to save your certificate so you can add it to HSYA in the Spring. 

   2. Background ONLY IF YOURS EXPIRED OR YOU ARE NEW This is a TWO STEP process. Step One: Click More Info then Submit New Report. Complete info (make sure to click SAVE next to your signature).  Go back to your dashboard and click background, click on the shopping cart, pay $18. Contact Braveheart if you would like to be reimbursed. Step Two: After you pay, check your email for instructions on how to complete the background check.    3. Disqualification Review: Read and sign. Note: you must click SAVE after you add your signature.  Submit Disqualification-Suspension Review Acknowledgement - US Club 

   4. If there are any Forms that have expired, click on Details button to the right of them and complete the forms. Make sure you click SAVE after you input your signature on the form.

**If for some reason you are logged out from completing the 2nd step of the background check (after receiving the email from JDP), try completely closing your browser and restarting the process. JDP has great customer service so you can always try writing to them if an issue occurs.
